About Amy Ludwin, MA
I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Psychotherapist located in Burlington, Vermont, working with individuals and couples since 1981. In a private confidential setting I offer supportive and practical psychotherapy services which are individually designed to address your concerns. My vision of the therapeutic process is as a path to find, activate, and encourage the innate capacity for health and wisdom we all possess. I work with and welcome adults of all ages, sexualities, and nationalities.
My M.A. degree is in Counseling Psychology, from Leslie College , and my B.A. degree is from Goddard College. I attended the 2 year Clinical Training program at The Center for Change in Burlington, VT. in 1981, and have clinical training with the programs of the Mind/Body Medical Institute of Boston. I am a certified teacher of the Guiding Good Choices, and the Staying Connected to Your Teen parent education programs. A former member of the Burlington Vermont Postpartum Task Force, I'm co-author of “Life After Childbirth: Making it Work for You,” a booklet containing information, resources, and worksheets about postpartum stress, mood disorders, and self care published by the Vermont Dept. of Health.
